Meet the Trainer:
Lindsay has been a Licensed Practical Nurse with the State of Ohio since 2015. Prior to nursing school, she attended Owens Community College to be a physical therapy assistant and presented at the Honors Symposium in 2012 and 2013 before deciding to go to another school to pursue her passion of helping others in another way through nursing. Her passion and determination to learn helped her accomplish graduating at the top of her class. Her quest to help others goes beyond nursing. In 2021, she became a certified instructor of First Aid and CPR through the American Heart Association. Her diverse background has given her experience working with people with behaviors, the geriatric community, children, and the DD community.
Lindsay enjoys a little bit of everything. People who know her have learned that sometimes, you should expect the unexpected. As an example, her first time in a plane, she jumped out of it! She likes arts and crafts, fixing things and helping others. In her spare time, she has been the vice president of her children’s school P.T.O. She volunteers for work functions, helping friends, helping family, and helping strangers.
Lindsay has 2 beautiful kids. Her daughter, who was born in the summer of 2009, is a bright, spirited, and giving girl. As well as a son, who was born in the summer of 2013, who is sweet, funny, and kindhearted. Her children were born 5 days apart. As a result, their birthday parties are combined into one special event that is the highlight of summer. The kids love it!!
